About the Role Kaiten Software is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic WordPress Intern to join our development team. This internship is ideal for students or freshers who are passionate about website development and eager to gain hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The selected candidate will work on live client projects while learning industry-standard development practices under experienced mentors.

Skills Required

• Assist in developing and maintaining WordPress websites. • Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements. • Build responsive and user-friendly web pages using Elementor or similar page builders. • Upload and manage website content images and media. • Install configure and update WordPress plugins and themes. • Optimize websites for speed performance and SEO. • Fix basic website bugs and troubleshoot technical issues. • Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible. • Assist in website testing before deployment. • Work closely with designers and developers to implement website layouts. • Maintain website security by following best practices and performing regular updates. Technical Skills • Basic understanding of WordPress CMS. • Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3. • Basic understanding of JavaScript. • Familiarity with PHP fundamentals. • Experience with Elementor or similar page builders. • Basic understanding of responsive web design. • Knowledge of website hosting and domain management. • Familiarity with cPanel or hosting dashboards. • Basic knowledge of MySQL. • Understanding of SEO fundamentals. • Experience with WooCommerce. • Familiarity with Git/GitHub. • Knowledge of website backup and migration. • Basic understanding of website performance optimization. • Familiarity with SSL certificates and website security.
